I live by my GPS. I am tired of buying these stand alone units which never seem to work accurately. I used to love Co-Pilot; but alas, even they cannot get it to run my routes, which change daily. Will Route XL run on my laptop using a GPS receiver and give me voice (and visual) turn by turn instructions?>
No, RouteXL as it is right now does not provide navigation on the road. We focus on planning your itinerary onbeforehand, finding the optimal order of destinations.
But we have directions to print and downloads for several GPS devices, such as .itn for Tomtom and .gpx for Garmin. The downloads however only hold the destinations, not turn directions.
Next to that, we link addresses to navigation apps on Android and Apple devices.
