Route doesn’t work on ipad2 iI put in an address a screen comes up stating “adding address” but nothing happens

Just checked on an iPad2 and works fine here. It may be the third-party geocoding service, that is called to translate addresses to locations on the map. They seem to have some hickups every now and then. Go to Options > Geocoding and select another geocoding service, e.g. Mapbox.
