Let’s you have 10 shipments you need to deliver and each shipment has to be done one at a time. What I would like to know is if it is possible for RouteXL to produce a route that takes into account that each shipment has a pickup and delivery point and that the following shipments delivery address can’t follow a delivery address of the preceding shipment, meaning it has to alternate between pickup and delivery addresses. I don’t know if I’m making much sense.
That would be pickup & delivery of each shipment one after the other, e.g. your vehicle has a capacity of one? If so, it’s not in our routing software right now, but it is on the list for future development.
A work-around could be to use the currently available order restrictions for locations, by opening each pickup location details and setting the “Visit before” to the delivery location:

If you find the route with these order restrictions, it may already be optimal and fit for the job. If not, you can manually re-order the locations and click-and-drag them in the Address list:
