Please update maps due to closed bridge in my county

Hi, in Santa Cruz County, the Murray street bridge is going to be closed for 3 years! Its causing a lot of grief, wanted to see if you can update your mapping algorithm. Thank you

We have no local road network knowledge and no maps of our own, our algorithm uses OpenStreetMap (OSM) data for our routes.

When checking the bridge on OSM the closure does not see to be there yet:

You have two options:

  • Change the OSM map yourself with your local knowledge, or wait till someone else in your area does, so it will eventually be in the data that our algorithm uses.
  • Use our testing system, which has an experimental option to block certain areas from the algorithm for your routes only.

If you opt for the second option, go to test.routexl.com and add the bridge under Options > Advanced > Block areas
